The August nominations for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month Award are:Steve Bruce (Hull City)
Remodelling a squad following relegation is never easy, but Bruce has done it seamlessly. His calm experience shone through as his team picked up 10 points from five games, which included a perfect record at home.
Chris Hughton (Brighton & Hove Albion)
A stellar month for his side with 13 points gained from five games. Reverted to a 4-4-2 system for this season, but his most telling impact has been in instilling a work ethic and team spirit that has his players playing as one again.
Mick McCarthy (Ipswich Town)
His shrewd acquisition of young wingers Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Ryan Fraser has added an exciting attacking dimension to a side which reached the Play-Offs in May. Three wins and a draw have Ipswich in the top three.
Chris Ramsey (QPR)
He is quietly establishing himself at Loftus Road, fashioning his side in his own hard-working image and restoring belief. Didn’t panic after an awkward start and led his side to three successive wins for a 10-point haul in August.
ALL WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 4 2015
The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery
