Tuesdays night’s home fixture to Reading F.C saw another random act of kindness offered to our RUFC supporters.

Random acts of kindness vary each week and occasionally give fans the opportunity to get behind the scenes to meet the players or even watch them warm up before the match from the home dug-out.

This week Lee Frecklington, Joe Mattock and Joe Newell selected 3 lucky fans to represent and lead The Millers out the tunnel in front of thousands of fans at the Aesseal New York Stadium.

Lee Frecklington said “we were honoured to be selected for this week’s random act of kindness and decided to give 3 young fans the chance to lead The Millers out onto the pitch before kick-off. I have seen them on a regular basis at our home fixtures and thought it would be an amazing experience for them to be selected”

Jamie Noble, Head of Community said “Random acts of kindness is part of the Community Match Day Experience which offers another aspect to the fantastic work Rotherham United offer to the community. It’s great that our players continue to give up their time and interact with fans and offer photo opportunities and autographs, it makes the supporters feel part of the team”
