Rotherham United confirm a new sponsorship agreement...

Rotherham United are delighted to announce that a new players' tunnel at AESSEAL New York Stadium will be sponsored by travel providers Wilfreda Beehive.

The Millers’ new tunnel will be used for the first time tonight as Rotherham take on Sheffield Wednesday in the South Yorkshire derby and will have the Wilfreda Beehive branding, replicating a coach, emblazoned upon it for the televised fixture at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Wilfreda Beehive are the official travel partner of Rotherham United, providing the coaches that take the Millers’ squad up and down the country to away games and have signed a deal that will see their branding appear on the new tunnel.

This deal further enhances their existing sponsorship with the club.

Commercial Director Steve Coakley was thrilled to have built on the agreement already in place as the club continues to strengthen its relationship with the travel provider.

“I am delighted first of all that we have been able to get a new tunnel installed at the stadium and even more pleased that Wilfreda Beehive have worked closely with us in order to attribute their brand to it.

“It is a bit of creative marketing that that particular area lends itself well to replicate a coach. At kick off all eyes are focused on the tunnel as supporters await the arrival of the two teams and this is a deal that will greatly benefit both parties, and hopefully continue to raise the profile of another one of our business partners."

Phil Haxby, Director at Wilfreda Beehive added: “We are pleased to expand our branding at the superb AESSEAL New York Stadium in such an innovative way. All the Wilfreda Beehive team are very proud of our association with Rotherham United Football Club and this further underlines our commitment. It will be fantastic to see the players emerge from our coach on its debut this evening.”
