Rotherham United are delighted to announce a contract extension with current partners Guardian Electrical.

Both parties have agreed a significantly enhanced deal which will see Guardian Electrical’s branding remain on the Millers’ training wear for the 2016/17 season.

Rotherham United’s Red and White Shop has been inundated with requests for items from the 2015/16 range that include the Guardian Electrical branding and, as a result, will be included on next season’s release of teamwear.

Guardian Electrical’s Finance Director Richard Roebuck was thrilled to extend the relationship with the Millers and is looking forward to a new chapter following the Millers’ appointment of a new manager.

“Guardian are delighted to continue and extend the Training Wear sponsorship with Rotherham United Football Club, as they enter an exciting era under Neil Redfearn,” he enthused.

“The partnership with the club is a great way of raising Guardian’s profile as one of the UK’s leaders in the Electrical Safety, Inspection & Testing industry.

“To see our logo emblazoned across the training wear makes us proud to be involved.”

Commercial Director Steve Coakley was equally pleased to be continuing the partnership and expressed his delight at building on the existing relationship with Guardian Electrical.

“It is an exciting time to be involved with Rotherham United both on and off the pitch and I am delighted that another one of our local business partners will be a part of that going forward,” he beamed.

"It's been terrific the way our partnership with Guardian Electrical has developed in such a short space of time which has culminated in today's announcement, and we look forward to working successfully alongside each other for the foreseeable future."
