A brief overview of Saturday's opponents...

After earning a creditable 1-1 draw against table-toppers Hull City last weekend, Steve Cotterill is unlikely to make any changes for the trip to the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

In fact, Cotterill has retained faith with the same starting XI in his last three league matches, which has reaped dividends as The Robins have picked up five points in a three-game unbeaten run.

Fresh from scoring his first goal since August, Kieran Agard is likely to partner French forward Jonathan Kodjia upfront in a 3-4-1-2 formation.

League position
19th

One to watch – Luke Ayling
The defender’s vast experience belies his age. At just 24, Luke Ayling has amassed more than 200 senior appearances for Yeovil Town and Bristol City.

Since joining The Robins at the start of last season, Ayling hasn’t missed a single game and his run of consecutive Bristol City appearances now stretches to 63 matches in all competitions.

Ayling formed part of the best defence in League One last season, as Bristol City –who conceded just 38 goals in 46 league matches – were  crowned as champions.

Previous encounters
Rotherham have happy memories of their most recent encounters with Saturday’s opponents.

The Millers won both games 2-1 in the promotion-winning 2013/14 season. James Tavernier scored twice in the meeting at home, while first-half goals from Nouha Dicko and Ben Pringle were enough to seal victory in the away tie.

Likely Lineup
Fielding; Ayling, Flint, Baker; Bennett, Smith, Pack, Williams; Freeman; Agard, Kodjia.
