Rotherham United have been drawn away at Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Youth Cup third round.

A time, date and venue have yet to be confirmed for the fixture, but Academy manager Garreth Barker told www.themillers.co.uk that he is looking forward to the challenge against the Premier League giants.

“We are delighted to have drawn Spurs, it will be a great challenge. We have a member of staff here in Ciaran Toner who used to play for them, so he is relishing the chance to go back. The lads are looking forward to the challenge.”

The Academy will travel to Bradford City tomorrow in the Final Third Development League, and Garreth is expecting another tough encounter.

“Bradford are a good side, they are very competitive but we are capable of getting a result, and we will be looking to the lads to put in a good performance.

“We will make a few changes, which will give some game time to one or two lads who haven’t played much recently, and we go there looking to get a positive display.”
