This week saw Hull City retain the East Division title with a 3-1 triumph at Doncaster Rovers.

Final Third Development League - East Division

Hull went into Wednesday's visit to Doncaster knowing that they would be confirmed as champions if they could avoid defeat, and they did so by winning 3-1.

Taylor Tombides put the Tigers on their way, but Liam Mandeville got Rovers back on level terms.

However, the second successive title was secured in the second half with goals from Harvey Rogers and another Tombides effort.

It was a great week for Gateshead, who won twice while scoring eight goals in the process.

Tom Allan, Carl Finnigan, Mechack Kanda and Tom Marshall sealed a 4-0 victory over Mansfield Town on Monday, and they were back in action against Rotherham United two days later.

After going behind to a Jerry Yates goal, the Tynesiders fought back through Marshall and Kanda, before Jack Errington and Andy White rounded off a 4-1 success.

Another Wednesday evening game saw Burton Albion overcome Scunthorpe United 3-2, after trailing by two goals at the break.

Jonathon Margetts and Kieran Bywater looked to have put the Iron in control, but second-half strikes from Sam Austin, Mickael Antoine-Curier and Dominic Knowles completed the turnaround.

Final Third Development League – South Division

Harry Cornick inspired Bournemouth to a 3-0 win at Leyton Orient on Monday afternoon, scoring twice in the victory, and providing the assist for Ben Whitley in between.

Peterborough United defeated Gillingham 4-2 this week to leapfrog their opponents in the table. Jonny Edwards and a stunning Erhun Oztomer goal put the Posh in front, before the Gills reduced the arrears.

But the ever-reliable striker, A Trialist, was on hand to ensure all three points with a brace, before the Kent side got another consolation late on.

Meanwhile, Portsmouth and Cambridge United shared the spoils in a dress rehearsal for their Final Third Development League Cup Semi-Final.

Jake Chambers-Shaw fired the U's in front but a Snorre Nilsen header just after the break made it 1-1 to earn Pompey a point.

The final game of the week came on Thursday afternoon, when South Division champions Luton Town concluded their campaign.

They defeated Gillingham 3-0 at Kenilworth Road, courtesy of  an Isaac Galliford brace and one from Shaun Tuton.

Final Third Development League – West Division

There was just one game in the West Division this week, but there were still plenty of goals as Walsall thrashed Wrexham 8-0 on Wednesday afternoon.

Jordan Murphy began the rout, which was quickly followed by an Amadou Bakayoko hat-trick and a Reece Flanagan goal.

Murphy made it six by the break, and Bakayoko netted his fourth in the second period, with Jake Heath joining the fun to complete the scoring late on.
