The Millers will take on Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday on the following dates...

The first of the South Yorkshire derby games against Sheffield Wednesday will be played at AESSEAL New York Stadium when the sides lock horns on 24th October.

The Millers’ welcome the Owls first, with the reverse fixture being played at Hillsborough following the turn of the year on 5th March.

Boss Steve Evans is aware of the significance the fixture holds amongst supporters but insisted there was a lot of football to play before the fixtures against the Owls.

"It’s a game that a lot of supporters will look for but for us it’s a long way away," he explained.

"Our focus will be on the first five or six fixtures of the season and that’s what our pre-season work will go into."

Another all-Yorkshire clash comes on 21st November when West meets South at Elland Road.

The Millers signed off the 2014/15 campaign against Leeds United but will make the short journey up the M1 to face the Whites much earlier this time out as they meet on 21st November.

Evans’ men will then welcome Uwe Rosler's Leeds to AESSEAL New York Stadium on 2nd April.

Last time the two sides did battle at the Millers’ home it was the hosts who came out on top with a Jonson Clarke-Harris goal, that would go on to win the club’s Goal of the Season, proving the difference between the two teams.
