Rotherham United will play Cambridge United at AESSEAL New York Stadium in the First Round of the Capital One Cup.

The Millers will take on the U’s in South Yorkshire in the week commencing 10th August.

Last time the two sides met was back in 2001 when an Alan Lee hat-trick helped the Millers to a 3-0 win over Cambridge at Millmoor.

Last season the Millers beat Fleetwood Town in the opening round of the competition, with Matt Derbyshire’s penalty in extra time proving the difference as Evans’ men ran out 1-0 winners at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

The club will confirm ticket prices nearer the time of the fixture.
