Sky Bet have named Hull City as their front-runners for immediate promotion back to the Premier League in the 2015/16 Sky Bet Championship season.

Steve Bruce’s men are currently 13/2 favourites to finish top of the Championship and 9/4 to win back their Premier League status at the first time of asking.

Hull host Yorkshire club Huddersfield Town on the opening weekend of the season and are odds on favourites (4/7) to get their season off to a winning start.

Burnley and Derby County are joint 2nd favourites for the title at 8/1, ahead of losing Play-Off Finalists Middlesbrough (9/1) and Brentford, QPR and Wolves (11/1).

Burnley, who finished two points behind Hull in last season’s Premier League standings, face a tough trip to Leeds United on the opening day of the season.

Sky Bet are expecting a tight game with Sean Dyche’s men very slight favourites at 7/5, and a Leeds win at 7/4.

Derby County missed out on a shot of the Play-Offs on the last day of the season and travel to Bolton Wanderers on the opening day.

Derby are 11/8 favourites to get their season off to a winning start.

Bristol City - promoted as Champions from Sky Bet League 1 last season – are an 18/1 shot to repeat the feat in the Sky Bet Championship and are 11/2 to be promoted.

They travel to Sheffield Wednesday on the opening day, where Stuart Gray’s replacement will be taking charge of his first competitive game.

City are 2/1 to win, with Wednesday at 6/5 and the draw at 12/5.

The Millers host MK Dons on the opening day and Sky Bet have the Millers priced at (13/8) to overcome the Dons.

Meanwhile, League 1 Play-Off Final winners Preston begin their campaign at home to Championship Play-Off finalists Middlesbrough.

Although they suffered contrasting fortunes at Wembley in May, Boro are 6/4 favourites for an opening day victory.

All odds are subject to change.
