Former Rotherham United defender Richard Brindley has agreed a two year deal with Colchester United.
The full back, who enjoyed a loan spell at the Weston Homes Community Stadium last season, has put pen to paper on a contract with the U’s following his release from the Millers.
Brindley made 18 appearances for Evans’ side during his time at AESSEAL New York Stadium in addition to loan stints with Scunthorpe United, Oxford United and Colchester.
