Paul Raynor previews the game with Partick Thistle...

Assistant manager Paul Raynor put the Millers playing staff through their paces this afternoon ahead of the game with Partick Thistle tomorrow (3pm).

The Millers travel to Firhill Stadium looking to end their tour of Scotland with three wins from three games after victories over Greenock Morton and Dundee.

The squad trained at Stirling University for the final time this afternoon ahead of the clash with the Scottish Premiership side, and Raynor is expecting another stern test similar to the one on Tuesday against Dundee.

“We have done some game preparation today, some shape and working on getting into those forward areas so we can make chances,” he told Millers Player.

“I think we can expect more of the same that we saw against Dundee. They will be very technical, they will like to keep possession and try and move us around. They will be comfortable on the ball and try and look for openings, so we will need to be patient, keep our shape and play with a tempo and intensity that we always do. If we do that then it’ll be an enjoyable afternoon for the guys.”

The Millers travel home after the game ready for their next pre-season friendly against Leicester City at AESSEAL New York Stadium on Wednesday night.
