Rotherham United secure a new commercial agreement...
Rotherham United have agreed a new partnership with Hornbuckle who will become the exclusive sponsor the back of both the Millers home and away shorts for the forthcoming Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Hornbuckle, who are a leading pension provider, with have their branding featured on the back of the first team shorts from the start of the upcoming season, replacing Balreed who have now moved to away shirt sponsor.
On the announcement of another major commercial deal for the club, Commercial Director Steve Coakley told www.themillers.co.uk:
“The back of shorts sponsorship was the last major team wear deal to be concluded for the upcoming season, and I am thrilled to have come to an agreement with a company that the club has worked alongside tremendously well in the past.
“The association with Hornbuckle isn't a new one; we have worked on a number of partnerships in the past, so continue this relationship is a major step forward for the commercial side of the football club.”
Phil Smith, Hornbuckle Chief Executive Officer, was equally delighted with the new sponsorship agreement:
“Hornbuckle are delighted to be associated with innovative progressive businesses of which Rotherham United Football Club certainly fall into that category,” he said.
“We see great commercial value in partnering our brand with the Club and are very much looking forward to the forthcoming 2015/2016 Sky Bet Championship season.”
