Rotherham United have completed the formalities on a deal to bring Jack Hunt on emergency loan, subject to Football League and FA ratification.
The full-back joins from Premier League side Crystal Palace until the end of the season to provide cover for injuries across the Millers defence.
The 24-year-old links up with another Palace loanee Zeki Fryers, who made the switch to the AESSEAL New York Stadium earlier this month.
Hunt, who initially made his name with Huddersfield Town, has enjoyed a successful spell in the Sky Bet Championship already this season with Nottingham Forest making17 appearances during his loan stint at the City Ground.
