Rotherham United Community Sports Trust has partnered with DTA North to deliver elite training for children in dance, drama, and singing.  DTA runs Rotherham’s number one junior musical theatre classes running at Herringthorpe United Reformed Church on a Saturday 10-4pm and a NEW  session now held at Todwick Village Hall every Monday at 5-7pm. Classes are available to children age 6- 12 years, sessions are £10 with discounts available to siblings.

Rebecca Hill, owner said “We run exciting sessions for both boys and girls around Dancing, Singing and Drama to give young people the opportunity to improve their skills but also to gain confidence and meet new people. I worked for many years on both the west end, around Europe and on ships and when I retired from preforming, I decided to set up DTA to give something back to Rotherham and give young people the chance from an early age to get involved in Glee styles activities and then hopefully find a discipline they then want to concentrate on.”

Jamie Noble, Head of Community said, “Although the Trust delivers a wide variety of sport programmes, the partnership with DTA also promotes healthy lifestyles for kids as they develop a variety of skills through singing, dancing and drama. We are a community organisation and want to get as many young people involved in healthy active lifestyles which ensures young people grow up participating in regular physical activity.”
