NCS participants raise awareness about brain injury

23 February 2015

The spring NCS participants created an informative video as part of their social action project to raise awareness about brain injury and the work done by Headway Rotherham. Headway Rotherham aims to promote understanding of all aspects of brain or head injury and to provides information, support and services to help people with brain injury, their families and their carers in Rotherham.

There are so many people who have been affected by brain injury, who do not know where to turn to for advice and support. Headway Rotherham provides just that and it runs purely on the work of committed volunteers and charitable donations. The NCS participants are hoping to raise enough awareness about the great work that is done at Headway Rotherham to help both those in need as well as Headway.

Rotherham United CST has also partnered with Headway Rotherham to deliver the Sport For All project which is funded by Sport England’s Inclusive Sport Fund with the aim to increase the number of disabled young people (age 14+) and adults regularly playing sport.
