Steve Evans talks to www.themillers.co.uk...

Rotherham United manager Steve Evans has confirmed that full-back Frazer Richardson is in line to be fit for Tuesday’s Championship fixture with Derby County.

Richardson was forced to play out the final 20 minutes of the game at Blackburn on Tuesday with an arm injury after the Millers had already used their full allocation of subs.

After the game it was revealed that there was some concern that the former Leeds man may have dislocated his shoulder, but following scans Evans revealed it was good news for the Rotherham-born defender.

“We have had some good news regarding Frazer after he underwent some scans on his shoulder area,” Evans told www.themillers.co.uk

“They revealed that there was no dislocation, but the consultant confirmed that there was deep bruising. Following some intensive treatment over the weekend and into the early part of next week we are hopeful of having Frazer available for selection for the game against Derby County.”

The Millers are currently being put through their paces at a top training facility in the Midlands ahead of the game on Tuesday night.
