Queens Park Rangers will host #StanBowlesDay this Saturday for the home game with the Millers at Loftus Road.
The Hoops are honouring one of their greatest ever players, whilst also raising money and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease after Bowles was diagnosed with the condition in June this year.
QPR have produced a commemorative matchday programme priced at £5 – with 50p from each sale going to the Stan Bowles Fund, and another 50p going to the Alzheimer’s Society.
His family have requested that donations are made on his Go Fund Me page, which has been created in conjunction with QPR, and the Just Giving Alzheimer’s Society page.
