The Millers Community Jobshop continues to reach new heights with the best month since the Jobshop opened.

Numbers of attendees continue to be at an all-time high with an average of 15 job seekers attending every Wednesday between 10am and 3pm.

The UK Online Basic IT (Learn My Way) course has become more popular with 4 new people signing up this month. On the Jobs front we have had 6 re-entering employment and that’s just the ones we know about.

All new attendees have access to adult careers advice and guidance, with further support from the team of volunteers assisting with CV’s , Emails ,Setting up Universal Job match accounts, and that’s just a few of the items that support is given .

The two years that the Millers Jobshop has been running we have worked in Mowbray Gardens and Wath Library where the success has been rolled out and many people have benefited from this innovative initiative.

So if you are looking for extra support in either personal development, re-entering employment, please drop in an see us at the New York Stadium every Wednesday between 10am and 3pm, I am sure you will enjoy the friendly surroundings and helpful staff.
