Scunthorpe United Chief Executive, James Rodwell, has been re-elected to the Board of The Football League by League 1 clubs.

Rodwell previously served on the Board during his time as Chief Executive of Notts County and stood for the position, once again, after moving to Scunthorpe United to serve in a similar capacity.
He will represent League 1 clubs along with Andrew Cullen, Executive Director of Milton Keynes Dons, who was elected to the Board in October 2014. They will serve alongside Chairman Greg Clarke; Chief Executive Shaun Harvey; Independent Non-Executive Directors Richard Bowker and Debbie Jevans; Championship Directors Andy Ambler (Millwall), Keith Lamb (Middlesbrough) and Karl Oyston (Blackpool); and League 2 Director Ian Lenagan (Oxford United).

The Chairman of The Football League, Greg Clarke, said: “I am delighted to welcome James back on to the Board as he has always provided a great deal of insight and expertise, particularly given his background as a former player. I look forward to working with him once more.”

James Rodwell, Scunthorpe United’s Chief Executive Officer said:  "I am pleased and tremendously honoured that the League 1 clubs have voted for me to be their representative on the Board of The Football League. This is a role I have undertaken previously and thoroughly enjoyed. I look forward to continuing making a contribution by representing the interests of all League 1 clubs to the best of my ability."
