Rotherham United Community Sports Trust is proud to offer a BRAND NEW opportunity to become part of the Joe Calzaghe boxing academy in partnership with Paleo Fitness and TVS Education. Become one of the first young people to complete this brand new and exclusive programme with Rotherham United Community Sports Trust. If you have a passion for boxing and fitness along with drive to succeed in your education then this is the right programme for you!
Round 1
This new programme offers any young person ages 16 – 18 years old the opportunity to study towards achieving a Btec Level 2 Extended Certificate in Sport along with learning about fitness, diet, nutrition and the chance to train as a boxer. No experience is necessary and is open to any young person looking to improve both their education and fitness. The course is a yearlong where you will be given the opportunity to train and learn in state of the art facilities with the chance to compete in white collar events organised by Joe Calzaghe himself!
Round 2
Successful progression can include a further two years completing the level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport for those who achieve both their level 2 diploma and show the right attitude and commitment to all elements of the programme.
Round 3
Use the level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport to create your pathway to University or employment in the sports industry but completing your education with the Rotherham United Education Academy.
