On Friday 5th September 2014, Willmott Dixon Partnerships presented the RUCST, United 4 Communities with away football kit for the 2014/15 season.
At the event, Mark Gelder, Willmott Dixon’s director of operations said, “We seek to support the local communities in which we work and are proud to provide support to the United 4 Communities team. We are committed to delivering projects and initiatives that provide a legacy locally for years to come. We wish the team the very best of luck for the forthcoming season.”Mark Cummins, Inclusion and Health Officer said, “We are delighted that Willmott Dixon has been able to support us. Our football club is more than just a sports team. It has a valuable role within the local community.”
Zanib Rasool, Community manager added, “The club has come a long way since its establishment in 2011 and it’s through the partnerships like this, that we are able to grow. Players training with the team often come from working-class backgrounds and may struggle to pay for necessities in the sport such as travelling to games and kits, therefore, this donation is fantastic.”
