RUCST currently delivers sport sessions in 9 localities across Rotherham as part of their IYSS (Integrated Youth Support Service) commissioned project.

The activities currently take place at Dalton, Masbrough, Maltby, Dinnington, Treeton, Winterhill, Eastwood, Wath and East Herringthorpe.

The project delivers positive activities during the evenings in a variety of community venues and weekly attendances top 250 on a regular basis. The multi-sport programme offers opportunities for competitive play with walking football which was recently held. Also, Kick Racism Out of Football Tournament is being planned for October.

Other areas in which the Trust has delivered are cricket, rounders, basketball and other multi-sport activities to appeal to a wider audience.

The project promotes community cohesion by bringing the different areas together on a regular basis. This is best seen in the United 4 Communities u16's team that are pictured with players coming from several areas across Rotherham to play competitive sport in a club environment.

Mark Cummins Inclusion and Health Officer said "We have just finished a really busy summer programme in which we have supported many community festivals along with the weekly activities. The project is currently going really well and attendances have continued to be strong, it is really important that we deliver activities in green spaces in local communities across the borough and this project enables us to do just that."
