Red & White Shop event a success...
Ben Pringle, Luciano Becchio and record-signing Jonson Clarke-Harris were at the Red and White Shop yesterday afternoon and supporters flocked to meet their heroes.
With the new replica home shirts in stock, the Millers’ shop stayed open until 6pm due to the demand of supporters queuing to get up close and personal with two of the players for the first time.
The players posed for photographs and signed autographs as the queues continued to grow through the afternoon until they’d eventually got through to the final sub.
Commercial Director Steve Coakley was delighted with the turnout as supporters took the opportunity to meet the Millers stars.
“It was a fantastic turnout at New York,” he told www.themillers.co.uk “I’d like to thank the players for sparing time on their day off to come and meet the supporters and it made for a very enjoyable afternoon. For many, the chance to meet Luciano and Jonson for the first time was a real opportunity not to be missed, and Ben Pringle remains a real fans favourite here at the Millers. We endeavour to give the supporters the opportunity to get one-to-one with the players and this was also emphasised with the recent visit to Frankie & Bennie’s at Parkgate as well.”
