As part of the Football League’s work with official charity partner ‘Prostate Cancer UK’ representatives from across the 72 clubs set off on a two day bike ride from the Matchroom Stadium in London to the Amsterdam Arena, home of European giants Ajax.

You may have seen the fundraising efforts by Paul Warne and Craige Spencer ahead of the ride, and we’re pleased to announce that the duo raised an excellent £2,614 towards the overall total of £180,000.

150 riders set off on the challenge, and both Warney and Craige (the club accountant), have been invited back to do the same challenge in 2015, being described as ‘two fantastic ambassadors for Rotherham United’ by the League’s Director of Fundraising Mark Bishop.

Here’s a selection of pictures from the ride taken by the duo. Supporters willing to join in the ride next year (12-14 June) are urged to do so, and more information will be available in the New Year.
