Yesterday, September 4th 2014, the RUCST launched its Jobshop programme at the Mowbray Garden Library, following the success of the established programme at the New York Stadium.

Councillor Simon Currie highlighted, "Residents in this area lack the opportunities and support. Therefore, the Jobshop programme is a great initiative that will help inspire and encourage the people."

Councillor John Doyle added, "The Jobshop programme is an affordable way for people in this area to build a variety of skills, with the prospective of being employed. This can also lead to an increase in wealth as employment increases."

Russell Morgan, the employability tutor stated, "The Jobshop warmly welcome and supports all employed and unemployed residents in Rotherham, who’s seeking career advice. We would like people to feel comfortable as they walk into a friendly and helpful environment."

Jobshop at the Mowbray Garden Library will be running every Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon. Come along and kick start your career.
