This year Rotherham Hospice will join 100 other hospices across the UK to explore the theme of Hospice care, everywhere. Hospice Care Week 2014 (6-12 October) aims to highlight how hospice care can help change lives in different settings beyond our hospice building.
Locally, we support more than 1200 people, their families and carers in the Rotherham community in the nation’s hospices, their staff and supporters will be taking to Twitter and Facebook to spread the message about Hospice care – everywhere that it’s offered by their dedicated volunteers and staff.
Rotherham Hospice is not just a building – it’s a way of caring for people both in the Hospice and the community. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers work together to provide high quality care that includes physical, psychological, social and spiritual support.
This care helps patients, their families, and carers achieve the very best quality of life and personal experience, both at home and in the Hospice.
