RUCST Receives Funding From The Football League

6 October 2014

Sponsored by

After the successful of the Girls Development programme last year, Rotherham United Community Sports Trust has once again been awarded funding by the Football League to develop football amongst girls aged 14-25.

RUCST will once again be looking for fun and innovative ways to get girls interested in playing football.  We will be organising free taster sessions, visits from members of the RUFC first team and the Rotherham United ladies team. In addition to this we will also arrange tournaments and fun football days around the borough.

With this funding, we aim to engage 360 girls aged 14-25 who are not currently involved in football. We will then look to signpost any girls who want to go further in the game to local woman and girls’ teams.
