Scott Loach joins Bury...

Scott Loach has joined Sky Bet League Two side Bury on an emergency loan until January.

The ‘keeper moves to Gigg Lane with the opportunity of regular competitive first-team football.

Manager Steve Evans told www.themillers.co.uk:

"It has always been my policy to allow experienced first team players to go out on loan and get first team competitive matches, which in turn gives him every opportunity to come back to the Millers and fight for the shirt whilst fully prepared to do so."

Meanwhile, 'keeper Tony Thompson has returned to the club following the culmination of his loan spell with Chelmsford.

"Tony has come back to the Millers from his loan spell at Chelmsford where he has done well," added Evans. "We have made sure that every game has been watched and with his contract to be discussed in January it was important to have him back here where a full evaluation can be made of his progression."

Loach can be recalled by the Millers at 24 hours notice.
