Rotherham United were saddened to hear of the passing of former player Terence (Terry) Farmer this past weekend at the age of 82.
Terry, who was renowned for his friendly nature and love for a joke signed for the Millers in 1952 from Gainsborough Trinity before making his debut against Notts County at Meadow Lane. He became a full-time professional in 1954 and in all made 62 appearances (scoring 25 goals) before he joined York City in 1958.
