Rotherham United have been made aware of a statement from Preston North End which read as follows:
“The Club had hoped to offer reduced price ticketing for supporters for the home leg, however, the Football League rules state that the opposing club must agree and none of the potential opponents would agree to a saving that would have been passed on to both sets of supporters.”
Rotherham United would like to inform our supporters that the above is incorrect, and no such discussions took place.
Peterborough United also dismissed the above statement yesterday.
