After arriving home on Thursday 24th April and having a night in their own beds this fantastic group came back over the weekend to take part in awareness course, qualifications and Mini Olympics event.
So what does NCS involve for the young people now? Well they are planning a project that they will deliver to raise funds and awareness for a local charity.
Future Programmes
NCS is a programme designed for Year 11 and 12 students (or equivalent age). It gives young people the chance to undertake exciting and challenging activities including archery, kayaking, caving and gorge walking. Participants also get the chance to meet new people and learn new skills, whilst also having the opportunity to design a project that will help their community and above all, have fun!
