Wear Red for Rotherham...

Steve Evans has called on the fans one last time to make the difference and get the Millers to Wembley as they play their Play-Off semi-final second leg this evening.

“I can keep saying how good the Millers fans are, they’re absolutely staggering at times and the noise they make has led players to telling me it feels like there’s two or three times the number of people inside that there actually are with the decibels.

“We’re going to need that, we’ll need the advantage. The atmosphere and the noise levels that were at Deepdale was sensational by the home support and we played our part in it as well. We need the supporters to come and be ready to give the best vocal support that this stadium has ever had.”

Chairman Tony Stewart this week asked the Millers supporters to “Wear Red for Rotherham” and create a sea of red at New York Stadium this evening, and Evans echoed those sentiments, looking for the Millers fans to give the side every advantage possible.

“Our Chairman has made the call which is unlike him to ask things of our supporters but he’d like to see this ‘sea of red’ with the fans wearing their colours and that’s what we all want to see. This game is so evenly matched that it’s going to take absolutely everything we’ve got and you’ve got to make the difference.”
