Defender Daniel Rowe joins Wycombe Wanderers...

Daniel Rowe has been recalled from Stalybridge Celtic and has now joined League Two outfit Wycombe Wanderers on loan until the end of the season.

The young defender made his professional bow for the Millers in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy victory over York City in October, but has recently been furthering his football education with non-league outfit Stalybridge.

Rowe has made four appearances for the Celts but is now looking forward to making the step up to League Two level.

“The move has come around very quickly, I only got a phone call this afternoon from Paul Raynor about the move but I am looking forward to the challenge,” Daniel told www.themillers.co.uk

“I have enjoyed the four games that I played at Stalybridge; it was a very beneficial learning experience for me. The manager, staff and players were very good to me and I have learned a lot from my time there.

“The standard at Stalybridge was good but I know that League Two will be a significant step up but I am looking forward to testing myself at that level.

“I have heard good things about Wycombe so this is a great opportunity to hopefully play some games and gain some valuable experience.”
