Miller Bear is running the Sheffield Half Marathon and then cycling from London - Paris to raise vital funds for Rotherham Hospice.
The 13.1 mile run and the 310 mile cycle ride both take place in April, with all money raised supporting the amazing work of the Hospice.
Funds will help a day centre for patients with palliative and long term health conditions such as cancer, heart failure, motor neurone disease and MS to name a few. It will also support an inpatient service for patients needing specialist symptom control and end of life care.
On top of this, Rothehram Hospice provide outreach services into the local community, providing a hospice at home service to ensure patients receive specialist support and care at home. This service allows the hospice to provide care to people in their preferred environment and at the same time reducing the length of stay for patients in hospital, with no cost to the patient or their families due to fundraising efforts.
