Steve Evans post Oldham Athletic...
Rotherham United manager Steve Evans urged the Millers supporters to continue their ‘fantastic’ support ahead of the weekend clash with Walsall.
The Millers were heavily backed by 1,119 supporters at Boundary Park last night as Evans’ side overcame Oldham 2-0 to further cement their position in the League One play-off pack.
Speaking after the game Evans once again praised the support and is looking forward to another healthy crowd at New York Stadium this Saturday.
“We know that every game in front of us is a big challenge and we know it is tough, so again we are asking for a big support at New York this Saturday,” said Evans.
“They have been terrific. The singing and the atmosphere was fantastic and they were banging the walls down at the last home game. We know they will be there on Saturday but if you can bring someone else along with you then great because this is a decent Walsall side coming on Saturday.”
