Good Friday fixture now confirmed...
Rotherham United’s trip to Birmingham City has been brought forward 24 hours and will now be played on Good Friday, 3rd April, kick off 3pm.
Following communication between the two clubs a decision was made to move the fixture forward by a day before the Millers then host Brighton and Hove Albion at New York Stadium on Monday 6th April.
You have to go back over a decade since the Millers and the Blues last met, when they played out a 2-2 draw thanks to goals from Darren Byfield and Martin McIntosh in April 2002 at Millmoor, a follow up to the 2-2 draw that had been played out at St. Andrews previously.
Steve Evans’ men travelled to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Good Friday last season where they took part in a 10-goal thriller, following two victories over AFC Wimbledon on the same holiday day in recent years.
