Rotherham United are very saddened to hear of the recent death of former player Johnny Fantham.
Fantham enjoyed two seasons with the Millers after a glorious career with neighbours Sheffield Wednesday, where he played in the 1966 FA Cup Final and earned a full cap for England.
He joined the Millers in 1969 and was a senior figure whose experience was key to the development of several young players who were coming through the ranks at that time.
He played 60 times for the Millers scoring 10 goals.
Our thoughts are with Johnny’s family and friends at this difficult time.
