Update on the RUCST Jobshop...
We have extended our provision out into the provinces and facilitated the people of Wath with great success over the last 6 months with clients moving back into employment, undergoing our online basic computer course and moving onto educational development via Wiseability.
The Jobshop at the stadium also continues to drive forward its success with continued support from Rob Rooker from the National Careers service. This service is invaluable hence the following quote:
“If you don’t know where you are going you will probably end up somewhere else.”
(Laurence J Peter, 1919-90, Canadian academic and expert on organised hierarchies, from his 1969 book The Peter Principle.)

‘I believe that if we get the fundamentals right all the other things will fall into place’ - this has shown to be the case time after time. The Centre is well attended every Wednesday and this success has been recognised in that. As from the beginning of June we will be moving back to a full day at New York Stadium. This enables us to develop the Jobshop further! So watch this space for updates.
This last month has delivered more success in the area of jobs and training with around 6 of our clients signing up for extra job seeking support via Wiseability and six job outcomes. We must be doing something right!!
