Rotherham United secure new deal...

Rotherham United has extended the current partnership with International drinks company Heineken until July 2017.

The new partnership will see the global brand also become an Official Business Partner of the club.

The deal will ensure Heineken’s products will continue to be sold in the concourses and hospitality suites around New York Stadium for the next three seasons.

“We are thrilled that Heineken have agreed to extend their current deal whilst also further strengthening our partnership by agreeing to become a Business Partner of Rotherham United,” said Commercial Director Steve Coakley.

“This partnership is one of a number of successful long-term collaborations that we're delighted to have and we are looking forward to working further with Heineken as we continue to prepare for our return to The Championship next month.”

Widely recognised for sponsoring the UEFA Champions League and Rugby Union’s premier cup competition The Heineken Cup, the global company have had a long history of sporting partnerships.

“Rotherham United are clearly a club that are moving forward and developing at an incredible rate and we are delighted to be involved at such an exciting time,” said Heineken's Regional Manager, John Dooley.

“After working with the club closely on the opening of the fabulous New York Stadium, and the last two memorable seasons, we felt that this was the perfect time to re-enforce our association by also becoming a Business Partner.

“As Rotherham United prepares for the next exciting new chapter we are looking forward to our continued partnership over the next three seasons and beyond.”
