Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are looking to recruit befrienders to become ‘Miller Mates’.
RUCST, in association with South Yorkshire Housing, are looking for befrienders to support SYH residents to attend football matches.We want to make it possible for everyone to watch Rotherham United at the New York Stadium.
In return you will get a free football ticket, your expenses paid (including a pie at half time). You will get the opportunity to give back to the community and enable someone to go and watch a football match.
You will need a UK driving license and access to a car to give the residents transportation to and from the match. As well as be a friendly outgoing caring person who is looking to give back to the community and help others.
