Rotherham United Academy is looking to appoint a Full Time Physiotherapist to join our Academy Sports Science and Medicine team.  The post involves working with the Academy players aged between 9 and 18 providing Physiotherapy services for our game and training program.

This full time role would suit a hardworking, enthusiastic individual with an interest in sports medicine who is seeking to further their experience base in a sporting environment.  Due to the nature of the role it would be advantageous for the successful applicant to be residing in the local area.

Academy Manager 

Location
The Rotherham United Academy is located at the New York Stadium & Graham Solley Sports Development Centre, Sheffield Hallam University, Bawtry Road, Sheffield S9 1UA.  You will be expected to undertake travel as is necessary to fulfil your job requirements.

Hours
This is a full-time role requiring flexibility to work evening and weekend fixtures, including regular travel to away matches.  

Remuneration
Dependant upon experience and qualifications

Job Purpose/Responsibilities
To provide Physiotherapy cover at academy games including away travel 
To deliver effective treatment and rehabilitation plans in line with club procedures
To maintain accurate medial notes in line with the CSP & Academy standards
To maintain and update the clubs injury audit
To attend and contribute to the departments in service training program
To provide a link between the coaching and medical staff to ensure both are aware of player availability

Essential requirements for the post
Physiotherapy BSc
Full CSP & HCPC registration
Enhanced DBS clearance
Access to own car

Desirable requirements for the post
Enhanced DBS clearance ( Suitable candidate will require)    Experience of working in professional  contact  sport
FA Child Protection Certificate ( Can be arranged)
FA Safeguarding Certificate (Can be arranged)
