New signing looking to make an impression...

Febian Brandy believes he has some unfinished business in football, after penning a deal with Steve Evans’ Rotherham United.

Brandy, who departed Sheffield United earlier this summer following a loan spell with Walsall last season has agreed to join the Millers, and is looking to prove a point on his return to the Championship.

“The Championship is a good level and if you do well there you never know what can happen,” Brandy said. “I still think I’ve got some unfinished business in football and I’m hoping I can address that and help Rotherham this season. I know a couple of the lads, I’ve had battles against Joe Skarz right from youth level and Kieran Agard’s a player I’ve known about since his time at Everton.”

The winger struggled to make an impression at Bramall Lane under Nigel Clough but is hoping to be a hit for the Millers faithful with his exciting style.

“I’d like to think I’m an exciting player with pace and trickery in the final third. Football’s a team game though and if I’m doing tricks and the team aren’t winning it doesn’t really work so the ideal scenario would be for us to be getting good results and allowing me to express myself in the right areas.”
