Midfielder gets loan move...

Rotherham United midfielder Michael Tidser has joined SPFL side Ross County until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.

Tidser, who joined the Millers from Greenock Morton in the summer has featured primarily from the bench for Steve Evans’ men this season and has been handed the opportunity to get more game time north of the border.

“Michael has gone back to Scotland and a move to the Scottish Premier League,” Steve told Millers Player. “As people probably recall, when we signed Michael there were three or four clubs in for him but he came here, had a good pre season but had issues with a few knocks. He got back in the team down at Coventry and was exceptional until he got sent off against Rochdale.

“I had four or five options from the SPFL, and we left it up to Michael which one he chose. I’ll make this absolutely clear, Michael will be back in the summer.

After making his debut as a late substitute in the 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday, Tidser has featured 16 times in total, with only five of those from the start.
