With the Millers firmly in the promotion race as the second-half of the season gets underway, Rotherham United are encouraging supporters to show your colours for the crucial remaining games.
Who could forget the moment where the New York Stadium pitch became a sea of red and white following last season’s promotion-clinching victory over Aldershot, and it’s important that you show your support to ensure the Millers are still in the top six by May.
With important trips to Molineux and Deepdale, as well as a local derby at Bramall Lane and the visit of Bradford City, those crucial games will be coming thick and fast, so it’s vital that you’re showing your colours.
“We’ve had a good solid first half of the season which has put us firmly in contention for a play-off place,” said Manager Steve Evans. “There’s a lot of big games coming up in the second half; these games will all have a huge Millers supporting contingent and nothing looks better than when you’re all decked out in Millers red. Believe me when I say that it makes a difference. Whether we’re at New York or on the road, when the players look up from the pitch, your support matters. If I wasn’t on the touchline I’d like nothing more than to throw a shirt on and join you in the stands because as I’ve said from day one, the support here is incredible.”
