Rotherham United manager Steve Evans reveals why Miles Addison missed the game...

Rotherham United manager Steve Evans revealed that defender Miles Addison missed the victory over Tranmere Rovers through illness.

The Millers boss witnessed yet another terrific away display as a brace by Alex Revell secured a thoroughly deserved 2-1 victory at Prenton Park.

Evans made four changes to the side that drew against Crawley at the weekend but admitted that the absence of Addison was enforced, after the Bournemouth loanee fell ill in the build-up to the game.

“Big Miles wasn’t feeling too good so it was an easy decision to introduce big Claude,” said Evans after the game.

“Miles just wasn’t feeling too well. He was ill on Sunday but better yesterday but when I asked him if he was fit today he said he was okay, I just didn’t feel that was enough, especially considering the competition for places here.”
