Rotherham United manager Steve Evans talks to Millers Player...
Manager Steve Evans is still sweating on the fitness of duo Lee Frecklington and Alex Revell ahead of the trip to Tranmere Rovers.
Frecklington missed Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Crawley Town due to a slight hamstring strain whilst Revell was withdrawn at half-time with a calf problem.
When quizzed over their availability for the trip to Prenton Park, Evans admitted that both will be assessed ahead of the game.
“Lee Frecklington has trained and it will be his reaction overnight which will depend whether he is fit for selection or not. It will be a late decision,” Evans told Millers Player.
On the fitness of striker Revell, Evans added:
“We think that there was some cramp in the calf muscle, Alex has trained today (Monday) and again we’ll see if there is any reaction overnight. Sometimes the player can wake up and feel something which means that there might be a slight strain in there.
“We are more hopeful with Frecks because he missed the weekend as a precaution, but there will be a late decision.”
