Local gym gets Millers backing...

Rotherham United have strengthened their links in the local community, by welcoming representatives from local gym, iMotion to New York Stadium.

iMotion, located in close proximity to the Millers’ training ground has been given an overhaul from the old facility and fitness coach Paul Warne as well as midfielder Ben Pringle were given the lowdown on what’s on offer.

“We’re going for an affordable non-contract facility with a contracted option as well at an even cheaper rate,” said Phil Corcoran. “We’ve hit 3,000 members and we’re really pleased with how it’s going. I’d like to thank Rotherham United Football Club, some of the lads come down and use it to train and it’s good that our members can see their heroes and their inspiration sharing the same facilities in and around them.

“We have new top of the range Matrix equipment. We’ve absolutely gutted the place and started fresh from what was Energie before, spending £1.4million to do so. All the equipment is brand new, we have 80 classes a week and there’s more being added all the time; they’re all included in the price and we like to think we’re the plushest affordable option in Rotherham.

“We know there’s plenty of competition in the area but we like to think we have a fantastic facility with a great non-contract rate, and now a contracted price which is even cheaper.”
