Charlie's big challenge raises funds for charity...

Sky Bet Football League fans have put a smile on TV presenter Charlie Webster’s face after they raised more than £3,500 towards Charlie’s Big Challenge.

Charlie ran over 250 miles, visiting 25 Football League clubs to raise money for Women’s Aid – the UK’s leading domestic violence charity, meeting Steve Evans at New York Stadium on her travels.

Sky Bet, the title sponsor of the Football League, donated 25 signed shirts, which were auctioned off raising £3,631.

Charlie said: “I’m incredibly grateful to Sky Bet. The money is a huge boost to the total, which has just passed £50,000!

“The challenge was incredibly gruelling and pushed me to my limit, but it was all worth it for the amount of money and awareness we have raised.”

Charlie is still accepting donations on her official Just Giving page, visit: http://www.justgiving.com/charliesbigchallenge
