Rotherham United Football Club is proud to announce an exciting development for the local business community with the implementation of the Millers Business Academy at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.
The Business Academy is an ideal platform for existing valued partners of the club, and also for new businesses who wish to become involved.
The Business Academy is designed to increase interaction with the local business community, generate additional business for those involved, whilst offering great networking opportunities and to be a part of what the club has on offer.
This is achieved by way of a website containing business tools, written by the individual members, on topics including marketing, insurance, finance, accounting, tax, legal, HR, business coaching etc.
There are also advertising opportunities and areas where members can add their own content and to email newsletters to other members for new products and services and special offers specifically for the Millers Business Academy or Academies in other regions.
“This is a great way to keep connected to our local businesses and is an exciting new venture for the town as a whole,” said Commercial Director Steve Coakley.
“The benefits of this project will be wide ranging for a number of local firms whilst this will also be extremely beneficial to our existing club partners.
“We look forward to welcome new faces and old for the first Business Academy gathering in the New Year.”
The website is complemented by monthly structured networking events at the club, where members will have the opportunity to showcase their businesses either during formal networking or via a structured presentation.
The first event is on 14th January 2015 and on the 2nd Tuesday of each month thereafter.
Registration 12:00pm for a 12:30pm start and should finish before 2:30pm.
